PART 1: Sleeper 2024/2025 Lacrosse Prospects you have to watch this season

Long Island is filled with amazing division 1 prospects. The class of 2024 and 2025 will shine this upcoming season. Take a look at these players who are looking to take the next step this high school season.

2025 Dylan Martini (Wantagh)- He had a big year as a freshman on Varsity. Martini did a good job creating space from his defenders and being an elite inside finisher. He is a quick attackman who can also make terrific feeds. During his sophomore year you can expect him to take the next step as an offensive player.

2024 Michael Felicetti (Kellenberg)- The Firebirds lost Adrian Nowalk, but Felecetti is gonna be the next elite goal scorer for Kellenberg. The crafty lefty was an amazing finisher in transition. He‘s gonna show off his dodging skills this upcoming season and will increase his production.

2025 James Pagano (Commack)- He has to be one of the biggest breakout candidates this spring. Pagano was a stud this past summer. His shooting ability is incredible and he does a great job creating space for himself off ball to be an elite scorer. He'll form a tremendous duo with Brandan Berozi this spring for Commack.

2024 Jack Morrison (Manhasset)- The Indians defense stepped up late last season to win a state title. Morrison was a player who rose to the occasion. Just as a sophomore he played terrific on the big stages.  Now the big and physical defender has plenty of experience and is in for a huge junior year.

2025 Dylan Baumgarth (Northport)- The Tigers keep getting studs at the faceoff X. The next star will be the sophomore Baumgarth. Long Island will know who he is after this spring. He’s one of the top 2025 FOGO’s in America. Look out for him to be a game changer just as a sophomore.

2024 Nicholas Uzakewicz (Happaugue)- The lefty attackman had a huge sophomore year with 55 points. Uzakewicz is a smooth player with a terrific IQ. He does a great job dodging with his head up and finding his teammates. He leads the way over there at Hauppauge and makes players around him better.

2024 Quinn Reynolds (Northport)- Pound for pound one of the toughest players in Long Island lacrosse. Reynolds can either play short stick defensive middie or LSM. He is a ground ball machine for the Tigers. He had a big summer for Team 91 Wolfpack and he is the definition of a grinder.

2025 Matt Triolo- (John Glenn/Elwood)- Elwood is a team that won’t get talked about by a lot of people, but elite 2025 prospect Matt Triolo will help change that narrative. Triolo had 63 goals just as a freshman. The lefty attackman already has great size and his ability to take over games is impressive. He’ll be a primetime national recruit.
