Is this the Best High School Lacrosse Offense in the Country? 2023 St Anthony's preview (Offense)

St Anthony's will have one of the most exciting offenses in America this season. These are thirteen D1 commits that will impact the offense in 2023. They also have a ton of college commits on defense, at the face-off X and between the pipes. They have a total of 26 D1 commits and are also loaded with 2025 and 2026 prospects. But when it comes to scoring goals, is this the best offense in the country?

Attack

SR Owen Duffy (North Carolina Commit)- Duffy is a top 5 prospect in the nation and is very entertaining to watch. He’ll quarterback this St Anthony’s offense from X for a third straight season.

SR Jack Speidell (Harvard Commit)- One of the best pure goal scorers in the country. He bursted out onto the scene with an amazing junior year. Speidell has some of the best hands and finishing ability in the country.

JR Quinn Langton (West Point Commit)- Younger brother of former star defender Colin Langton. Contributed a ton on a really good JV unit last year.

JR Luke Breslin (Lehigh Commit)- He’s one of the best junior attackman on Long Island. He had a huge summer for Team 91 Wolfpack.

SR Aidan Zuhoski (LIU Commit)- The senior playmaker played very fantastic in the LILJ winter league scoring double digit goals for the Friars.

Attack/Midfield

SR Patrick Carriagher (Penn State Commit)- He’s been an excellent midfielder for the Friars the last two seasons. He’ll continue being a primetime goal scorer for St Anthony’s

SR Jack Ponzio (Navy Commit)- Another 3 year contributor. The big lefty is a matchup nightmare. He’ll contribute at either midfield or attack once again.

SR Michael Finnerty (UMASS commit)- Another talented lefty in this offense. Finnerty is very versatile on offense and has the quickness to give defenders issues.

Midfield

SR Jackson Greene (Harvard Commit)- He had the game winning goal against Chaminade to win a championship last year. Greene is an all around athlete and is someone who can have an enormous senior year

SR Colin Gols (Providence Commit)- A terrific second line middie last year. He’s a guy that will contribute a lot his senior year

SR Joe Calandrino (Penn State Commit)- He is a throwback midfielder. The senior has size, speed and strength in his game. He has the ability to easily play 2 ways this season.

JR Luke Aashiem (High Point Commit)- Another all around midfielder for the Friars. He’ll be valuable on defense, clearing or if he plays offense as well.

JR Kyle Billeo (Brown Commit)- Energy and speed is exactly what Bilelo brings to the table. He is a nightmare for a short stick d middle. He’s gonna be a great addition to the varsity squad this season.
